Students may file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students can apply online at the FAFSA website.
Federal and State Financial Aid Programs
Federal Stafford Loan Programs are also determined by filling out an FAFSA application. Principle and interest on the need-based Federal Subsidized Stafford Loan are deferred until the student ceases to be enrolled for at least six credit hours, withdraws, or graduates.
On non-need-based Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Loans, the principle is deferred and interest will accrue on the funds when the loan is disbursed to Bethel University.
The maximum amount a graduate student can borrow in a given year is $20,500. Payments on the loans begin six months after the last date of enrollment of at least half-time attendance.
Employee Reimbursement
Many employers offer tuition reimbursement for students in programs like the Bethel MBA. Contact your employer’s Human Resource Department to see if they have a reimbursement program. Most employers require that the student pay the college, and then the company reimburses the student. You may be able to use personal student loans to pay initially and then receive the reimbursement from your employer.
